We are from Cheltenham in the Cotswolds and it has been our dream to run a gite in the beautiful countryside in France.  This dream was fulfilled in October 2020 when we purchased this stunning barn conversion in the Haute-Vienne which is said to be the French Lake District.

Neil has just rekindled his love of art by taking up painting with watercolour and is an avid sports fan having played county level football and squash, in his younger days.  He is also an FA qualified coach.

Lorna loves to cook and is enjoying growing and cooking her own produce.  She has also tried her hand at many crafting genres which you can see throughout the gite and gardens.

We have spent 20 years living in Guernsey, Hong Kong, Singapore and Madrid and are now fully settled into French life.  We are now in our sixth year of running the gite and with the experience that we have now had and guest feedback we now know that we provide a Home from Home experience.
